Our Commitment to Community and Service
At Stratum Contracting & Construction Management, we believe that building strong communities extends beyond our construction projects. As a proud Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, we are dedicated to supporting organizations that serve veterans, active-duty military, and their families. Giving back is part of our mission, and we are honored to stand behind those who sacrifice so much for our country.
Our team is actively involved with several impactful organizations, including annual partnerships with the USO, where we help provide holiday stockings filled with essential items for deployed Marines—bringing a small piece of home to those serving overseas.
We are also proud supporters of Operation WetVet, which creates outdoor recovery experiences for combat veterans, offering therapeutic fishing trips and recreational activities designed to promote healing and connection. Additionally, we support K9s For Warriors, a remarkable organization dedicated to training service dogs for veterans struggling with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma, helping them regain their independence and quality of life.
Fletcher High School - Interact and K9s for Warriors
Interact is Rotary’s service club for youth ages 12-18. Interact clubs can be community-based or school-based. Individual Rotary clubs sponsor Interact clubs and provide them with support and guidance, but each Interact club is self-governing and self-supporting. The goals of Interact include developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others, understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work, and advancing international understanding and goodwill.
The Duncan U Fletcher High School Interact Club is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Jacksonville - Oceanside in Atlantic Beach, FL.
Since 2015, the Fletcher High School Interact Club has raised $300,000 and sponsored 25 K9’s for Warriors service dogs to help in the fight against Veteran suicide.
Stratum is also honored to partner with Task Force Hydro1, an organization that uses water-based activities like surfing, paddleboarding, and diving to help veterans, first responders, and their families reconnect, build resilience, and find peace.
At Stratum, we are committed to making a meaningful impact—on our job sites and in our community. To learn more about our community initiatives or ways to get involved, contact us at 904-720-2783.
